UTeach Arkansas

The state of Arkansas needs more STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) professionals and math and science teachers. And many college students need a great career that pays off. The solution? UTeach.

The program incorporates a modified teaching curriculum into the studies of a typical STEM major, so you still finish in four years. You still get the degree you want. But you’ll also be a certified STEM teacher with a ready job – and maybe even have your student loans forgiven.

The state currently has three separate UTeach programs – at the U of A, UCA and UALR – that came together to promote the opportunity statewide under a joint effort, which became UTeach Arkansas.

We helped name and brand the program, develop a web presence and create a scholarship contest for high school students to promote it – all with the expert help of Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon science expert Kevin Delaney. Visit uteacharkansas.org to learn more.
